Correct Display & Correct CLI VoIP Routes
Correct display (correct CLI) and local correct display VoIP routes for call centers: your authorised caller ID presented as sent, route testing and published rates.
What is a correct display route?
A correct display (or correct CLI) route presents the caller ID you send to the called party exactly as sent — the right number, in the right format, without truncation or replacement. For outbound call centers it is usually the route type that matters most, because people answer and call back numbers they can see and recognise.
Route options
- Call Center (CC) routes — dialer-ready capacity for outbound campaigns (CC routes).
- CLI routes — the originating caller ID is passed to the destination (CLI & NCLI routes).
- Correct CLI / Correct Display — the caller ID is shown exactly as sent.
- Local Correct Display — a local number in the destination country that you are authorised to use is shown correctly.
- Local Random Display — caller ID rotated across a pool of local numbers in the destination country that are assigned to you or that you are authorised to use.
- Mixed EU Display — caller ID presented from a mix of authorised European numbers, for campaigns across EU destinations.
- Mixed CLI — a lower-cost blend where caller ID is passed on part of the traffic.
- Non-CLI (NCLI) — lowest cost, caller ID not guaranteed.
- IVR / Press 1 — for consented keypress-transfer campaigns (Press 1 routes).
Availability of each route type varies by destination. Your account manager confirms which options are live for your destinations during the route test.
Lawful caller ID only
Correct display routes present numbers you own or are authorised to use. Caller-ID spoofing or impersonation is prohibited on every route. We receive regular updates from the telecom carriers we work with on spam, abuse and scam-call reports and act on them; for security reasons we do not publish how abusive traffic is detected or blocked — see the Acceptable Use Policy.
Test before you scale
Request a route test and check on your own handsets that the caller ID arrives as sent. $10 test credit: available after successful ID verification. For B2B accounts, the $10 test credit is available once you share your current provider’s billing and payment records for the last 6 months. One test credit per business, subject to review and the Acceptable Use Policy.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between CLI and correct display?
A CLI route passes the originating caller ID to the destination. A correct display (correct CLI) route specifically presents that caller ID exactly as sent, in the right format, without truncation or replacement.
What is local correct display?
A local number in the destination country, which you are authorised to use, presented correctly to the called party. Availability varies by destination.
What are Local Random Display and Mixed EU Display?
Local Random Display rotates the caller ID across a pool of local numbers that are assigned to you or that you are authorised to use. Mixed EU Display presents caller ID from a mix of authorised European numbers for campaigns across EU destinations. Both are offered only with numbers you are authorised to use, and availability varies by destination.
Can I present any number I like?
No. Only numbers you own or are authorised to use. Caller-ID spoofing or impersonation is prohibited under the Acceptable Use Policy on every route.
Can I test a correct display route first?
Yes. Request a route test and check on your own handsets that the caller ID arrives as sent. A $10 test credit is available after successful ID verification; for B2B accounts it requires 6 months of billing and payment records from your current provider.
