KYC, AML & Sanctions
Why a crypto-only merchant still performs customer due diligence, what we ask for, and what we refuse.
Why this matters
Accepting cryptocurrency only is unusual for a legitimate business and reasonable people treat it as a risk signal. We accept crypto because our customers are internationally distributed and card acquiring for this sector is impractical, not to avoid scrutiny. This document sets out the controls that apply because of that choice.
CallCenterBoost is not a financial institution. Cryptocurrency is accepted solely as payment for our own services. We do not exchange currency for third parties, do not transmit funds on behalf of others, do not hold customer balances and do not provide custody.
Customer due diligence
Orders may be held pending review. We would rather delay an order than provision infrastructure to an unverified party.
- Business identity — legal name, registered address and, where applicable, registration number.
- A named individual responsible for the account and a verifiable business contact.
- The intended use, target markets and campaign type for the service ordered.
- For higher-value or higher-risk orders: evidence of registration and confirmation of the beneficial owner.
Sanctions and restricted destinations
We screen customers and destinations against applicable sanctions regimes and will not supply data, routes, servers or desktops to a sanctioned person or entity, or to a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions or an applicable export-control restriction. Orders that would breach these controls are cancelled, and payment is returned to the originating wallet where lawful to do so.
Payment integrity
- Payment must arrive from a wallet the customer controls. Third-party payments are not accepted.
- Funds traceable to a mixing service, a sanctioned address or a known theft are refused and reported where required.
- Amount, asset, network and confirmation count are verified against the invoice before an order proceeds.
- Invoices state the exact asset and blockchain network. Transfers on the wrong network may be unrecoverable and are not treated as received.
Records and cooperation
Transaction records, invoices and due-diligence records are retained for the period required by applicable accounting and anti-money-laundering law. We cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities and will respond to properly constituted legal process.
What will get an order refused
- Refusal to identify the business or the individual behind it.
- A stated intended use that is unlawful in the target market.
- Requests to route payment through a third party or to split payments to obscure their origin.
- Requests for data categories we do not supply, such as financial or government identifiers.
- A destination or counterparty appearing on an applicable sanctions list.
