Your Data Rights (Removal & Access)

For individuals: how to find out whether your details appear in our data, obtain a copy, correct it, or have it removed and suppressed permanently.

This page is for individuals, not customers

If your name, phone number, email address or business contact details may appear in a dataset supplied by CallCenterBoost, you have rights over that data regardless of where you live and regardless of whether you have ever dealt with us. You do not need an account, and there is no charge.

What you can ask for

  • Access — confirmation of whether we hold data about you and a copy of it.
  • Rectification — correction of inaccurate or incomplete details.
  • Erasure — deletion of your record from our data.
  • Suppression — permanent addition to our do-not-supply list so your record cannot be reintroduced by a future source. We recommend requesting this alongside erasure.
  • Objection — objection to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests.
  • Restriction — a pause on processing while an accuracy or objection dispute is resolved.
  • Source information — the category of source your record came from.

How to submit a request

Email support@callcenterboost.com with the subject line "Data rights request". Include the phone number, email address or postal address you believe we hold, so the record can be located. Provide only what is needed to find the record — do not send identity documents, financial details or passwords unless we specifically ask.

We may ask one clarifying question to confirm the request relates to you. We will not use anything you send for any purpose other than handling the request.

How long it takes

  • Acknowledgement: within 5 business days.
  • Substantive response: within 30 calendar days, extendable once by a further 30 days for a complex request, in which case we will tell you before the first 30 days expire.
  • Suppression: applied immediately on receipt, before the request is fully processed, so that supply stops as early as possible.

What we cannot do

We cannot delete your data from the systems of a customer who already received it before your request. We can tell you the period in which your record may have been supplied so you can approach recipients directly, and where we are legally required to notify recipients of an erasure request we will do so.

We may retain the minimum information needed to keep you suppressed, and we may decline a request that is manifestly unfounded or excessive, giving reasons.

If you are unhappy with the outcome

Escalate first to support@callcenterboost.com, which is handled separately from the team that answered the original request. See the Complaints & Escalation document for the full process.

You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. In the EEA this is your country's supervisory authority; in the UK it is the Information Commissioner's Office; in other jurisdictions it is the equivalent privacy or consumer regulator. You do not have to come to us first.

Unwanted calls

If you received an unwanted call and believe a CallCenterBoost customer placed it, report it to us with the date, time and the number that called you. We can identify and act against the customer under the Acceptable Use Policy, including suspension. Reporting the call to the relevant telecoms or privacy regulator in your country is also appropriate and we will cooperate with any resulting enquiry.
