How to Request a VoIP Route Test
What to prepare before requesting a route test, and what happens after you submit one.
Before you request a test
Route testing is a manual availability review, not an instant provisioning step. Have your traffic profile ready: target country/destinations, route type (outbound telemarketing or Press 1 broadcast), expected daily minutes, expected concurrent calls, and your dialer or PBX.
What to submit
- Target destinations (countries, regions or specific prefixes)
- Estimated daily minutes and expected concurrent calls
- Dialer or PBX in use (for example VICIdial or Asterisk)
- Preferred authentication: SIP credentials, IP authentication, or either
- A description of the intended lawful traffic
After you submit
The request is reviewed for route availability, compliance and technical feasibility. You will receive updates on the request status, and a reference ID for follow-up.
Responsible use
VoIP services may only be used for lawful communications. You are responsible for complying with applicable telemarketing, privacy, calling-time, caller-identification, consent and do-not-call requirements in every destination you call.
